1. Modular K’NEX Car System

The first one from the K’NEX list is this DIY modular car system. It is made out of 3 segments and a roof. What this is for you is a car that can be easily customized to your design and liking, and it is easy to create your own custom parts and attachments.

Before you start building, read the part count to make sure you already have them or need them further:

  • 1 – silver spacer
  • 19 – blue spacers
  • 10 – Y connectors

2. K’NEX car

This K’NEX car is one of the easiest to build, especially if you consider yourself a beginner builder. The car “rear” can be easily clicked in the two black rods/connectors with the open space with the yellow rods. (It will be a little loose and the bottom red connectors will drag and get scratched up.). Take the gear out. Slide the longer yellow rod in. Click in the yellow horizontal rod into the green. This can be done by taking off the four bottom white rods. Place the gear back in.


Get started with gathering all the pieces required:

  • 67 –  green rods
  • 4 – blue rods

Connectors:

  • 4 – green connectors
  • 20 – red connectors
  • 10 –  light gray connectors

3. K’NEX ATV

To take on a new horizon regarding K’NEX builts, this happens to be one of the most difficult to assemble from the list. So, if you like to challenge yourself or want to try a more complex structure for the first time, try out K’NEX ATV car.

4. K’NEX Lamborghini

Build K’NEX Lamborghini from scratch which is based on a 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago. The interior of the vehicle is primarily yellow connectors, but the seats are made from orange two-way pieces. Get ready for a thrilling ride with its real-Lamborghini features, like opened doors.

To begin your construction process, you will need the following supplies:

5. K’NEX F1 Race Car

Ever wonder how to make a K’NEX Formula 1 car? This K’NEX F1 model may be small, but it features more than at first glance. Of course, the main feature is the Hand of God steering mechanism, which leads back to the cockpit. This makes sure the car is easy to drive around with and I think it actually handles like an F1 race car would. What is not visible is the V10 engine. It sits neatly under the bodywork.
